ROA Annual Meet 2011
June 20 - 23, 2011
ROA members came from all over the world to attend what was truly an International event. Two couples came up from Australia, one couple from South Africa, and another from Costa Rica. In total we had 233 members & guests, who brought 83 cars, including five Toronados. We were honored to have eight previous First Class winners return to be displayed in our non-judged Winner’s Circle. Long distance went to a member who drove a 92 Riviera 2,109 from Washington state. Long distance in a classic 35 years or older went to another Washington state member who drove his ’64 Riviera 1,861 miles. The Best of Show was a 1964 Coral Mist with a white interior, owned by Al & Cheryl Schmidt from Wisconsin.
We were blessed with clear skies, an outstanding hotel and plenty to do. For those who have never been to Branson you are missing out on the experience of being in a town filled with friendly people, who display a true patriotism and deep faith. With over 100 different live shows each day there is something for everyone to enjoy. I have never been in a town with more talented people than Branson.
Next year we travel west to Monterey CA, during the week of June 4-7th. In addition to the many beautiful Rivieras share with us the beauty of the rocky coast and all the area has to offer. More details will follow.
